किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए सूक्ष्म पोषक प्रबंधन और अन्य बागवानी तकनीकी हस्तक्षेपों पर संवेदीकरण कार्यशाला
पोषण प्रबंधन, फसल विविधीकरण, संरक्षण, फसल के तुड़ाई उपरांत मूल्य में वृद्धि और अन्य संबंधित बागवानी तकनीकियों के माध्यम से किसानों की आय के वृद्धिकरण की आवश्यकता है। इस दिशा में,आई.सी.ए.आर. नेटवर्किग परियोजना "बागवानी की पैदावार और गुणवत्ता बढ़ाने के लिए पौधों में सूक्ष्म पोषक प्रबंधन" के तहत ग्राम कीटनाखेड़ा, माल, लखनऊ में 16 सितंबर, 2017 को एक संवेदीकरण कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। डॉ नीलिमा गर्ग, डॉ तरुण अदक, डॉ दिनेश कुमार और डॉ ए.के. भट्टाचार्य ने प्रतिभागियों के साथ बातचीत की और अपनी आय बढ़ाने के लिए कई तरीकों का सुझाव दिया। किसान, महिलाओं, ग्रामीण युवाओं और लड़कियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया और गुणवत्ता वाले फल और सब्जियों के उत्पादन के लिए कई सवाल उठाए। डॉ तरुण अदक ने आम और अमरूद में फलों के फटने की समस्या को हल करने के लिए जिंक और बोरान प्रबंधन की सलाह दी तथा अक्टूबर के महीने तक मिट्टी में ज़िंक और बोरोन के प्रयोग के साथ ही फलों के विकास की विभिन्न अवस्थाओं में करने का सुझाव दिया। गुणवत्तायुक्त फल उत्पादन के लिए भी ज़िंक और बोरोन की कमी को दूर करने का सुझाव दिया गया। अक्टूबर के अंत तक आम और अमरूद के लिए पोषक तत्वों के प्रयोग और जल प्रबंधन के बारे में भी किसानों को जाग्रत किया गया। जल की कमी के दौरान नमी संरक्षण और गुठली के पास जेली नियंत्रण के लिए कैल्शियम क्लोराइड के छिड़काव के बारे में भी सुझाव दिया। इसके अलावा,आम और अमरूद में कीटों तथा रोग के नियंत्रण उपायों के बारे में सलाह दी। डॉ नीलिमा गर्ग ने किसानों और खेतीहर महिलाओं को आम तौर पर कच्चे आमों से अमचूर बनाकर आय पैदा करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। यह उत्पाद कम से कम 300 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम की अतिरिक्त आय प्राप्त कर सकता है। आम का गूदा व अन्य उत्पादों को बनाने के लिए भी सलाह दी गई थी। किसानों को आम और अमरूद के बगीचों में कीटनाशकों के सुरक्षित इस्तेमाल के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। डा दिनेश कुमार ने किसानों को प्रभावी कैनोपी प्रबंधन,अन्तः फसल, नर्सरी उत्पादन, सब्जियों का उत्पादन विशेषकर ऑफ-सीजन सब्जियों के बारे में सुझाव दिया त कि ग्रामीणों द्वारा अतिरिक्त आय अर्जित कर सकें। उन्होंने गांव में पोषक स्मार्ट उद्यान के निर्माण में पोषण और अतिरिक्त कमाई के लिए,बेल,आंवला तथा केला की फसल की शामिल करने का पर जोर दिया। जागरूकता कार्यक्रम में सभी प्रासंगिक साहित्य को किसानों के बीच वितरित किया गया।
Doubling the farmers’ income is the thrust area of scientific community through nutrient management, crop diversification, protection, post harvest value addition and other related horticultural interventions. Keeping this in view, sensitization workshop was organized at Kitnakhera village, Maal, Lucknow under the ICAR networking project on “Micronutrient management in Horticultural Crops for Enhancing Yield and Quality” on 16th September, 2017. Dr Neelima Garg, Dr Tarun Adak, Dr Dinesh Kumar and Dr. AK Bhattacharjee interacted with the participants and suggested several ways to enhance their income. Farmers, farm women, rural youths and girls enthusiastically participated in this programme and raised several question for quality fruit and vegetables production. Dr Tarun Adak advised for Zinc and Boron management to solve fruit cracking in mango and guava and their soil application by the end of October as well as spraying at fruit developmental stages. Nutrient application for mango and guava by the end of October was also suggested and farmers were also sensitized about water management. Farmers made aware about mulching for moisture conservation during dry periods and application of calcium chloride for control of jelly seed formation in mango. Further, control measures of mango and guava pests were advised. Dr Neelima Garg motivated the farmers and farm women for income generation by making aam chur using unripe mangoes (Kaccha mango). This product may fetch additional income of at least Rs. 300 per kg of unripe mango as compared to their local marketing. Value addition of riped mangoes for making pulp and other products were also advised. Farmers made aware about safe use of pesticides in mango and guava orchards. Dr. Dinesh Kumar interacted and suggested farmers regarding effective canopy management, intercropping, nursery production, vegetable production particularly off-seasons vegetables may earn extra income by the villagers. He had emphasized on creation of nutri smart garden in the village for nutrition and extra earning, incusion of bael, aonla and banana cultivation. All relevant literatures were distributed.
